Below are videos for setting the time on a Rolex Datejust, Day-Date, Daytona & GMT.
Click on the appropriate video relevant to the model of Rolex you have.
IMPORTANT – Make sure once you have set the time on your rolex, ensure your winder is done back up securely.. See video at bottom of the page. To do the winder up simply push it in and screw at the same time, it will catch onto the thread and keep screwing tighter until you feel it won’t go any more. You don’t need to go crazy here, just tighten with you fingers until you feel it won’t go any more.
Datejust II. These instructions apply for any Rolex model with a date function, i.e Datejust, Datejust II, Date etc.
Day-Date. These instructions apply for any model with a date & day function.
Daytona. These instructions apply for any model with no date or day function i.e Daytona, Oyster, Submariner (Non date), Air-King etc.
GMT-Master II. These instructions apply for models with a second time zone, i.e GMT-Master II & the Explorer II.
Make sure your winder is screwed back up once you’ve set the time on your Rolex. If the winder is not screwed up securely the watch is not water-proof!
